Eastham/Lindridge feasible without waders?

Hey there!

I'm really hoping to catch my first Grayling on the fly/nymph.

Unfortunately I don't have any waders and so before I make the long drive to Eastham or Lindridge, I was wondering if these stretches of water could be fly fished successfully from the bank?

Kind regards

You'd be better off at eardiston Mill for grayling on the fly chap. Midway round there's a gravel beach if the rivers not up that much. Always grayling in numbers there upto 2lb+

Hey @BarbelGod,

Thanks for the tips!

I went down to Eardiston this morning and found the small gravel beach you spoke of (the rest of the bank downstream was far too steep for me).

It's a nice spot and plenty of room for flying fishing from the beach however the water seemed very fast and maybe slightly high. I wasn't sure if this was common or not, or if the conditions were not right, unfortunately had no luck so far! Will keep trying
