The car park is on the opposite side of the river, and you need to walk across the bridge. BAA sins are on the gated entrance (no padlock).
Over the past 3 or 4 years I've fished both Eckington and Nafford about 40 times, and always had really good results on the float. They are both deep in most parts - 9 foot to 12 foot.
So far this season, I've fished each one once, and both have been hard work. Very poor compared to all the previous years. I caught a few in the first couple of hours and then it died off.
Peg-wise I had to chop one out at Nafford but at Eckington I was lucky enough to get one free of undergrwoth.
