Off to Eckington for the first time tomorrow. Can somebody please tell me if the car park is free parking or pay and display.

Re: Eckingtonits free parking because its a picnic area. ... but it is the opposite side of the road to the venue so you have to cross the bridge..

Re: EckingtonParking is free, as Onelastcast mentioned above when the weather is good almost impossible to have good fishing - all sort of people on the river ( I have seen peoples bathing their dogs there) + heavy boat traffic.

Re: EckingtonBeen today and the boats, swimmers, paddle, boarders and canoes weren't a problem. Bleak on the other hand were a pain in the ###. 7lb Bream the highlight

Re: EckingtonI guess the poor weather put them off....but well done on the slab a 7lb Bream is a great fish...suppose the Bleak are a great snack which makes the venue good for Zander and Pike.
