I am up for a bit of fly fishing on the Teme near Tenbury maybe this weekend but despite having just bought a suitable 8ft AFTM 4/5 rod and DT4 line I am still a little bemused as to what flies to try, being mainly a reservoir fly fisher. I suppose dries or maybe some nymphs Czech style.
I'd welcome some help from someone who knows the river and can at least suggest a few patterns to try. Last time I fished last June they were avoiding the Duns and taking something else, but couldn't work out what, maybe midges. Would be good to catch a grayling as well. Any tips welcome.
And if you know how to fish it properly maybe I could tag along to pick up some tips.
