My mobility still isn't great, but I'm thinking of a trip out to Hallow.
I don't particularly fancy sliding down the bank, only to discover that I can't get back up, so, rather than wasting a trip, can anyone tell me whether the pegs in sections 4 and 5 have steps and or platforms?

the last time i was there it had both ..steps and platforms. what state they will be in now after the flood is anyone's guess .. im thinking about mud on the steps... if your planning on going alone i would advise you to take a rope just incase .. its very deep in the edge there... Alternatively if its bream your after try upstream a little above bevere weir at retreat farm ..you can park at your peg there and the steps and platforms are missive ( THE BEST IV EVER SEEN ) a lot more comfortable and safe...
my thoughts only..

Thanks for the reply.
I thought about Retreat Farm (and yes, those platforms are great), but I'm planning on putting out a rod for the Zander, and While I know they are present below the weir in numbers, I have no idea about the section from Bevere up to Holt Fleet.

OH Zander ..im no predator fisherman so i don't know if its any good above the lock... I hope someone else can shine some light on it...
