Have you seen stubs lately, severely overgrown, and I've never seen so much weed on a pond in my life , it's so thick you couldn't hit the bottom if you tried and it's completely took over the lake on the surface and the bottom , the first time I seen stubs was years ago and it never had a weed problem , and it was a stunning little lake , and some of you saying check the rivers first but I'm not a river fisherman I have probably fished 2 rivers in 29+ years I fish pools and nearly every pool I've ever fished are made to take extra water as they have overflow system so I've never had to check river levels in nearly 30 years of fishing, and as I said I have only joined baa this summer and have since found that they only have 2 pools that aren't prone to flood , because all others are right next to a river but as I said all the pools I've ever fished have never had a flood problem and I think some are missing the point I was warning others from making the same mistake and going down as it's blocked off my point being why doesn't baa just do a post on waters that are available or unavailable it took two minutes for me to make a post , there's just no communication via the website the announcements are out dated and far and few between and when people say phone the office it's not an option if the office opens at 9:39am and I have to leave at 5am to get to the waters ,, and I went yesterday expecting the water to have gone down by now as it's been fairly dry over this week just fancied something different and decided to go to ukinghall for some Zander and pike ,
