Re: Re River Lugg upper section near public houseYeah. We went. Up near the main road but could only find an entrance into the farmer fields, I will have another look sometime but as its nearly 22miles from where we live, so we won't bother going out there this weekend until I know how to get to the area, gonna look at somewhere else for this weekend, cheers. For the info tho

Re: Re River Lugg upper section near public houseYes it was the only access point I could find was through the fields, fairly near the one house up the top. It would concur with the BAA map which shows access at that point. Put it this way I had also come a long way If you call a trip from North London long lol I fished the lower sections too on the same day which have easier access

Re: Re River Lugg upper section near public houseYeah cheers, may look at the middle section as we originally looked at those and found we had to park up the road and walk down over the bridge and through the farm area to get to the River but it looks like a good spot

Re: Re River Lugg upper section near public houseIf you fish the stretch at Moreton just watch out for the cows, they're a bit overly friendly. And don't be lulled into a false sense of security if you see them on the other side, they are perfectly capable of crossing the river at the shallow bit just above where the river divides.

Re: Re River Lugg upper section near public houseIs this stretch fishable at the minute (any of the Lugg stretches) and worth an evening for the coarse fish?
