With all the rain and mild weather we have had over the last couple of weeks and with the levels up and coloured. Its great to see some nice double figure barbel being caught and reported from Severn Stoke on social media. Its amazing what a difference a good spell of rain and mild weather can do when it comes to catching barbel from Severn Stoke smiling

Re: Severn Stoke barbel fishing ?

Hi RN

Severn Stoke and other Barbel hang outs will be prolific at the moment but I'm committed to fishing the last Forum D'Anglers match this year on the BW Canal this Saturday and the wife will be upset if I abandon her on Sunday too.

Never mind, there's a chance that the following weekend will also be good for a barbel outing on the Severn. I've got plenty of tins of Tulip Luncheon meat to get through this winter.

Have you been catching any Severn Stoke Barbel yourself recently RN? smiling

Hi Stew

Severn Stoke has been good to me lately. Its amazing how things can change this time of the year.
When the weather is mild and the river level rises and you get reports of barbel being caught on meat. Lets hope we get more rain and mild weather. smiling and good luck Stew on your final match.
