Fished it last about 6 weeks ago, had 3 sessions over a fortnight.
First session was fine, and had some very large chub.
Started fishing the waggler with maggot, but could only get bits, ( small dace, chublets, minnnows).
Went on the feeder for a while afterwards, whilst feeding pellet on the waggler line. I didn't do much on the feeder but did have a good chub eventually on it.
Went on to the waggler and had a good chub first cast, and by the end of the day I'd had 6 very good chub.
Second session was a struggle and may be have been blinded a bit by pellet, although maggot produced bits again, but so did pellet. I had my PB smallest barbel that day of about 4oz.
Third session was a real struggle on anything, but must admit that week a number of places I fished had not been producing much.
Upstream there's some pegs where you'll need to wade across as it's very shallow down the inside, which I've yet to fish but, will do when there's a bit more colour in the water. But the pegs aren't too bad compared to other stretches of the Wye that I've fished.

Going to have another bash at it next week
