Re: Birds Meadow

Haven’tfished it but use the same entrance for Mythe Pool and you can park behind pegs at Birds Meadow

Re: Birds Meadow

For Birds Meadow turn down lane by the side of Tewkesbury Garden Centre, on top of hill north bound from Tewkesbury (A.38) The lane is signed unsuitable for motor vehicles, but is passable when dry, if wet can be a nightmare if you don't have a 4 wheel drive. Park alongside river for about 500 yards until end of Mythe pool. Pretty good platforms along the stretch.
Feeder approach would be good, plenty of Bream.

Re: Birds Meadow

Out of interest, is there access vehicle access via mythe?

I have been down the track by the garden centre before and it is a bit iffy without a 4 x 4 when damp.
Had a look last August and looked like nobody had been down there as it was so overgrown, but was told it was still being fished. I wasn't too keen on the overgrowth taking the paint off

Re: Birds Meadow

Access to Birds Meadow from Mythe is by foot only. But at Mythe main car park, you have the River to go at, and you can park alongside your peg.

Re: Birds Meadow

Thank you.
I've fished the river at Mythe a few times, but only Birds Meadow the once, mainly because of that track and it always bloomin rains when i go. (I got my own personal rain cloud I think).
Just that access to got a mention earlier in this post.
