In the TV guide I have it gives the channel numbers for More4
Free view 18; Freesat 124; Sky 136; Virgin 147
The first episode on the Severn and it looks like the Hamster knows how to fish with a fly rod.

Hi RN,
I watched that first episode on the River Severn and it was quite enlightening.
I did not know about the work that had been done down at Diglis Weir, which was really interesting and informative, so much so that I have put up a separate message about the Thwaite Shad on the Forum.
The next episode 2 on More4 is on the River Test in Hampshire, this Wednesday June 1st, 9pm
I remember the late great John Wilson fishing on that river on one of his TV Fishing Programme.

Thought it was very good, stunning scenes where the Severn rises.
The fish pass was interesting, considering the cost of the project, funded by the Lottery, it seems viable.
The CRT woman even included coarse fish to be using it, Barbel and Chub.
Given a free run to the upper river, hopefully it will have an impact with all species.
I have actually caught a Twait Shad, on our Stacklands water, crazy fight.
If you don't know, you can visit the pass at Diglis, just turn up on the day, no need to book.
