During the coarse fish close season you can fly fish and worm (using appropriate tackle) for Trout and Fly and spin for Salmon (Salmon licence needed). You can`t spin on a Trout licence. With regards Trout it must be reasonable to assume they are present in the stretch you are fishing. If worming acquaint yourself with the EA rules.
