Evening gents, anyone familiar with the above pool ?, thinking of giving it ago for the Bream this weekend.
I have never been and wondered where the deeper parts are and if anyone has any hints or tips for it, im not really into Carp and looking at the BAA pools this seems the best option, am i likley to keep getting smashed up by Carp if i set up for the Bream.
Thanks in advance Rick

Re: Mythe pool

Carp are very wary in Mythe and don’t come out often as far as I am aware so don’t worry about being smashed up. Bream catches along stretch up to the bridge. Can be big catches but other days very tough. That’s fishing I suppose........

Re: Mythe pool

I caught a steady stream of Bream in the 4-5lb bracket a few weeks ago on the float. My swim was like a jacusi but other areas looked lifeless so i gues its very much about finding them first. Also, on the right gear they actually fight back - 4lb line and float rod.
