According to the BAA website work plan, there is nothing planned. This is such a shame, as Nafford and also Eckington are such wonderful stretches.
I have been to both 3 times each, this season, and have had to clear pegs. This season I decided to take a machete with me, when fishing these venues. Needless to say, it came in very handy.
It would seem that, looking at contest venues, they are taking priority over pleasure fishing locations. Maybe just my imagination, and not a grumble, as the match-fishing teams probably contribute more financially, than the individuals.
I have nothing but admiration for the bank clearing crew, and would like to add a big thank you, for the clearing they have done recently, at Pensham.
