You will have to excuse me if I am completely on the wrong track, but.................... not all farms are situated by a river/stream/brook or whatever watercourse. Where I live, there are a number of farms with various sorts of livestock and not by any sort of waterway. What I would like to know is how do these farms dispose of the animal waste without incurring exorbitant costs?
Presumably the farmers do not load it onto tankers and dump it into waterways.
So, if a far few farms can dispose of the waste, without outpricing their goods in the market, why cannot farms situated riverside use the same means.
I know I could be completely off track with this thought, as there may be some logical answer.
Just trying to understand.
