I was fishing at Bransford for the first time in 6 years last night. At about 9.30 I saw a group of three otters at the tail of the gravel beach run. Is this the norm for the Teme atm?

Re: Teme OttersI think it’s the norm for most rivers at the moment Andy.Been regular sightings down Quatford on the Severn in the last couple of weeks,I found a load of mussel shells on one peg down there last week too which is usually otters. The thing is a small river like the Teme can’t cope with a predator of that size as well as the Severn.I can imagine with the Teme being so low it’s easy pickings for them too.

Re: Teme OttersThey are present throughout the Teme and can be seen regularly if you fish into late evening, usually just as it's getting dark, but I have seen them early morning too. Keep very still and they won't be aware of your presence. The other week one swam right past me as I sat motionless on the bank. Maybe that was another reason I blanked!?
