Re: TENCH AT MYTHE

Not a chance of a double in there imo. They are there but it's a tough water but it can occasionally click.

Walcot was BAA's premier tench water but........

Lots of smaller tench @ Mythe going up to 6/7lb be surprised if they went that big in there, cant rule it out though.

Re: TENCH AT MYTHE

Well I've fished Mythe since 1987, including a lot of nights and full weekends when Worcester had it, and have never, ever seen or had genuine evidence of a tench anywhere near 10lbs.

They seem to top out at 6 or so. That said Atlast, I'd love there to be 10s in there, but I can't see it in a million years.

Re: TENCH AT MYTHE

I have fished mythe quite a bit over the last 12 years for carp and to be honest the tench along with the bream can be a nightmare to fish around, whatever methods they seem to get on it. They are not fussy at all, pop up boilies fished over spreads/pva bags/corn over hemp/etc it all works.. fished through the winter one season and caught tench right through, even when there was frost on the ground in January/February.. but never have I had or seen tench over the 6lb mark, if you want a chance of a bigger tench try ukinghall I've had some nice fish from there, early morning margin float fishing. corn over hempseed worked for me had them to 8lb from there...
