Hi, first post here and new to BAA, Great value for money

Does anyone know the last peg for Trimpley please before it is another clubs waters?
I fished Sunday and used the map with the red lines on what I thought was the last few pegs down past the islands round the corner where You have a bit of a waterfall and fast water which is visible on satellite imagery and a few pegs down from that with the 2nd bridge visible and water slowing up again.

I had just landed a Barbel ( my first one landed ever) when I heard a voice shout " what the effing hell are you doing in my peg , a match is on"
I replied , excuse me, no match was advertised on the BAA website,
he then began to get a bit shirty and saying this aint BAA and the club owner is an ex hells angel, like it was some kind of threat which You don't expect when fishing,

he stamped all over my gear as I was trying to recover the fish and keep calm on the matt, and it was a heavy fish but with what was going on, I thought it was best to rest the fish upstream and let it go and get out the peg, he even had the cheek to ask if he could use the barbel in the keep net for his match, no chance, I don't agree with keeping barbel in keep nets.
I had to move all the way back upstream where I had already walked and forget my forceps.

If anyone knows I would appreciate it, and I would even help stick some BAA signs up there as I only saw one on a tree to clarify the section.

Re: Trimpley boundary/ Ollie

Hi Novice 76,

If you have travelled below the island and past the boundary fence you have probably been fishing a short stretch of river owned by Jason Ford, who incidentally, was a former Hells Angel. If you go to Trimpley again there are two good pegs at the bottom of island and a very good one in front of the reservoir inlet at the top of the island just before the river breaks to go down the inside channel. There are loads of other good pegs, but difficult to explain where they are.

I hope his mates read this and realise he's a cheating scumbag.
