Not ideal conditions to catch fish with the high temperatures and low river. Add to that, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, small cruisers, canal barges, small RIBs, dogs and swimmers, no jet skis' though. Special thanks to our fisheries team led by Craig Williams to strim paths to get access to a lot of pegs.

Re: Cradley Heath Labour AC club match at Barton on the Warks Avon 18/07/21 - Bream of 5lb 7 oz

Ollie,
Great to read of the Bream of 5lb 7oz being caught on a known killer bait of worm & caster under a feeder rig.
On what was one of the hottest days of the year and with the added distraction of al the other members of the public wanting to make use of the River Avon.

So to weigh in over 26lb of fish from the first five anglers was a great result, well done to you all and for posting these results, as well as clearing some pegs to fish.

Keep on Fishing
