Hello Fellow D’anglers,
You can always expect to see decent size Chub caught in the Winter, and if you take a look at the “Pictures of the Week” that are to be found on the Home Page screen when you enter the BAA WEBSITE you will currently see in pictures 1 & 2:

Chub caught on the Avon by Martin Whitehouse, and
on the Teme by Gavin Noone; two lovely specimen’s.

The British record weight for the Chub is for a Stillwater fish of 9lb 5oz.

They are one of the most voracious fish that we can fish for as they will eat anything!
