Yep, some lovely fish around there. I actually feel that a static bait, I was using breadflake, would have produced a few more fish. I felt they didn't really want to chase a moving bait on the day. But hey ho, was still happy with the few I had

Float legering / Stret Pegging the John Wilson way would be a good option to try so that you still get the thrill of the float gliding under.

Fabulous fish mate well done I used to fish our upper Severn waters in the 70s early 80s every weekend during the summer/autumn and we used to have it to ourselves pretty much, it’s good to see from all the photos more people going there now and catching quality fish like you did
