Re: River Teme

I've not fished here but I've drove over many times, has any one fished here, good pegs, is it looked after and above all will my car be safe, I've had many a damaged car over the years on BAA waters.

Broadwas

Spent a few hours there Friday, fished the beach gravel bank, over the bridge and practically the first fisable area I came to. It's well overgrown down there to be honest, and not that easy to get to the bank. It's such a shame that it's a lovely place but really needs some pegs sorting out. I never had a tickle to be honest but had a nice few hours watching the world go by.

Upper Severn advice if possible please

Hi All, I was hoping someone might be able to give some advice on fishing the upper Severn stretches. Due medical reasons I can't currently drive so all my fishing is confined to where I can get lifts to or cycle, this is basically the upper Severn stretches, Forden, Buttington, Aberbechan and Pool Quay etc. I have walked the Buttington and Forden stretches and they are very overgrown and I saw very few fish. I have no problem with trying to find and clear some swims but would appreciate some advice on where I should/shouldn't bother with, I am really hoping to catch some decent Chub and maybe the odd barbel if they are around. If anyone does have any advice on this area then do please let me know. I am not expecting anyone to give me exact swims to aim for (but feel free to do so if you wish!) but a few general pointers would be good.
Thanks Phil.
