Re: River Teme

Hi, thanks for the reply, yes your right on the theory of good pegs, lots of traffic.. I suppose I would just like vtyhe new stretch to be a bit more back friendly!!
Anyway I'm going to give Cotheridge a good go so can I pick your brains on the pegs you could tell me to head for and the baits you have had success with..
Cheers mate

Re: River Teme

Hi Old Monkey, thanks for the reply.
Just to ask you some more advice to be honest, Cotheridge: I have never fished there to be honest but plan on doing so soon, any tips on the approcach, bait wise and best pegs to head for?
Just going back to the new Doddenham stretch, I walked the stretch and to be honest only found 2 pegs fishable, one had wooden steps in it. I have a friend who was a member of the previous club who had the water and they said it never got fished due to there being no pegs to fish from. What's your thoughts on the stretch?
I personally think that although it's great to have additional stretch's but would it not be better to purchase waters that will be fished, I don't think this stretch will see much action, just few hard core in my opinion. Having said that there are still some excellent stretchs of the Teme that hopefully the BAA will go for, the Haven stretch and the one down stream from the Talbot, which I think belongs to the Kinver Free liners, great stretch but never gets fished.
Fingers crossed BAA are looking at those and they have no high banks and lots of pegs.
Your thoughts Guys!!!!

River Teme

Hi all, I want to fish this River this year and in particular, Braodwas, Cotheridge and the new section. Any particular pegs to head for?
Also walked the new stretch, at Doddington and there seems hardly any pegs to fish, are there plans to do any improvements with this venue?
Thanks in advance
