Re: holding barbel in a keepnetDo you ever get the feeling it's gonna kick off again?? It's a shame as mickgrove made some really good points there which the EA/Clubs would have to address if season changes were to be made.

Re: River MeaseI fished it a few seasons back now, keep meaning to return but haven't. Its proper wild river fishing all twists and turns and rather delightful. It is really small though and as others have said best travel light and be willing to rove. I did the whole stretch but couldn't fish anywhere in the trees as it was summer and overgrown. The rest varied between spots where I couldn't get a bite (trotting maggot) and spots where there was a few obliging chub in the 2-3lb bracket. I didn't get any other species other than chub that day.

Re: Online/sat nav map of car parksGreat work Flat rodded, whilst a sat nav would double the value of my car I can see the value in what you have done, nice job.

Re: EA Closed Season ConsultationThat's the crux of the matter Brummy it's that 100% doesn't go back in to fishing, If all our fees went to the Angling Trust and fish legal it would be better than the EA getting it. Think we'd all be happy to pay more if we saw something of a return.
