TRAVELLERS REST AC PERSHORE R/B 7/3/20

Our new season started with a visit to Pershore R/B.17 turned out to fish a slightly dropping river
field was driveable and the weather was dry with an up stream wind (depending were you drew).
River was rather pacey so wag was out of the question so most set up big stick/bolo rigs and feeder set ups. One brave sole used pole (we all no who that was) and that method payed dividends as Jimmy Burton won the match with a 4-11-0 closely followed by Billy John with
4-2-0. Now I'm no idiot but I swear that little bear helps Mr burton ….grin Any way here are the
rest of the results....
1st J Burton 4-11-0
2nd R John 4-2-0
3rd P Fields 3-1-0
4th S Milton 2-1-0
5th D Bates 1-6-0
6th D Wright 1-4-0
7th A Marsh 1-3-0
8th P Ellis 1-1-8
5 D.N.W 17 Fished
