Hi Stew,
Fished pool 3 again, 12lb line, two quick grabs but nothing on the bank.
There were some big carp cruising about.
Two lads were fishing 1 and they both blanked!
Such is the joy of fishing, still nice to get out in the fresh air.

Members, please don't be lazy!!
I arrived at Nordley yesterday to find the gate unlocked(Stocking Lane).
When leaving at 21.30 the gate had been left open, please respect your sites and lock the gates when you leave!!

Hi Stew,
Nordley has been hit and miss for the last 4/5 years. Last week (Tuesday) I fished pool 3 and had an indifferent session. Was snapped up twice, the 2nd fish I couldn't hold or turn!
I landed an 11lb Common and then a 4lb Common. These were all on floating crust.
On Thursday missed a couple off the top, but had to 4lb Bream on meat and pellet.
I also managed to hook a Canada goose, which escaped unharmed.
I will probably have a couple of sessions next week.
