Re: Unhooking Mats & Handling of FishHornet you say long wet grass is fine ? So what happens when the grass is dry ? How do you know what lies hidden in the grass ? Sharp stones , broken glass , Twigs etc etc .

I have never been a member of BFW and I have never been banned from any group or website and I have never stalked any one .

You say and I quote '' Better still just unhook in a the net and release , Prolonging a fish's time out of water with a weigh sling mat and a small film production crew does more harm ? I assume it is you in the You tube video ? How big was the film production crew when you filmed your self catching and posing with your Barbel at the end of the film ?

Re: Unhooking Mats & Handling of FishOllie I assume when you say some fisheries have banned unhooking mates ? I assume you are talking about Carp puddles ? I fish many different rivers and never come across a ban on rivers . I fish for Barbel and all ways use a mat when unhooking a fish .
