Re: River MeaseHi everyone and brummymoorey. Sorry for the late update. Have recently fished the river mease at Harlaston 21 feb. Using a link ledger rig I fished one of the bends nearest to the access gate and had a good day catching roach,dace,and mostly perch on maggot and worm. Nothing of any size but good sport nevertheless, no Chub showed up. Did speak to a chap having a roam after Chub and he had blanked. just a bit of a heads up it was very busy with dog walkers,walkers etc, but it really is a lovely spot and who can blame them. Definitely worth another go before the season ends with lots of pegs to go at. Cheers.

Re: River MeaseHi brummymoorey. Think I spoke to you today (17 feb 2019) on my first ever walk on this Mease Harlaston stretch sounds like you had a decent day. Spoke to the 3 other chaps fishing this stretch and they all had a similar day to you, they all said that they had fished this stretch regularly in the past but were concerned that the Chub had seemed to be very sparse lately. Am now planning on fishing this stretch probably this week and will put out a link Leger and give the trotting a go. Hopefully will put the outcome on here.
