Lets hope a system can be put together to simplify things and save money.
Any simple measure that would save/earn the club some more income must be good, especially if at the end of the day it went towards employment of paid P/T - F/T mobile club bailiff and maintenance workers (s).
I have noticed a few clubs are making their club cards more difficult to copy/photo copy and so stop them being used fraudulently.
BAA membership....it's a bargain.

Pity you lost the larger fish at the net, but encouraging enough for another visit?
The colour of roach this time of year seems to be more vibrant especially in clear water.
A sleeper rod down the edge and out the way with a piece of flake may result in something special.
Perhaps the lack of boats have let leaves etc settle in the track giving a false impression of the actual depth?

As has been said, the photo didn't do your catch justice.
Next best thing to fishing is hearing about peoples catches, especially with extra info.

Hi Rob,
A really nice net of winter chub.
You say you caught them on the waggler, I presume mid river.
The Avon seems to be rising fast at the moment, so maybe out of sorts for such methods for a time.
Haven't fish a float on running water for years Stew !!

The colour of the fish almost reflects the cold air temperature.
