Re: Stacklands new Wye fishery

I've also added an additional route to the Stacklands Where To Fish webpage (Approaches) that gets you within about 5 miles of the fishery before you have to leave the motorway/main roads.

Stacklands new Wye fishery

The Fisheries team was at Stacklands (Kings Caple) today doing prep for the 16th June.

We've put up signs, there's one on the gate to help you find it.

We've created a car park alongside the fishing hut, all signed and fenced, please use it, don't park on the bank and don't block the gate to the next meadow as it's in use daily by the farmer.

We've created additional pegs especially in meadows 2 & 3 which was a bit challenging as the river was well up.

The walk from the car park area to the bank is very short.

When you enter the gate from the road into the field (please close the gate), drive on the track alongside the fence to you right, which will take you direct to the parking area and hut.

Be careful around the hut as bees are nesting in it!

Please enjoy it as it's a very beautiful location, and post pictures of what you catch on the forum.

Forum pages

I've just added a new forum page 'Juniors' for our younger members to post in.

Any suggestions for additional forum pages?

How about 'Have a moan' where you can raise any issues you have with the BAA or anything else, promise I won't delete any moans about the BAA as long as they stick to the Rules & Regs!
