Re: NORDLEY POOL 1

I've not fished the nordley pools this year so far. I fished pool 4 right by the car park last year and had a great day with roach and skimmers on the pole and a few carp on bread fishing the straight lead. If you fish it let me know how you get on.
All the best Dave

Re: match fishing results

Might be an idea but match results don't always give a true representation of how a venue would fish under a pleasure fishing situation. I pretty much could fish any peg on the Avon at the min and catch 10lb of fish but I bet I couldn't do it under match conditions. Just a thought.

Re: BAA PULSE SURVEY ( QUESTIONNAIRE)

Hi John thank you for your reply. Its good to see that you have had so many back and the members are getting involved.
I accept any data released from these surveys needs to be in the best interests of the Baa, that's totally understandable.
It would be good if when the dust settles we could get say a top 5 or something along those lines.

I suggested this survey a while back now in one of the monthly news letters and its great to see you felt it was a worth while exercise especially considering the work involved.

Hornet I suggested a stretch on the Wye also. So I think you will find it was me lol.

A couple of years back now I spoke to a guy at Evesham on the Baa stand about a stretch on the Wye and he felt there would be no interest in it due to the distance involved. Its great to see this new water added to the venues. I just hope it fishes as well as other parts of the wye this winter fingers crossed.

Re: BAA PULSE SURVEY ( QUESTIONNAIRE)

Think its good the baa want members ideas and suggestions even if we don't get any feed back.
I for one though would be really interested to know fellow members thoughts, and what was suggested and wanted from our club moving forwards.
Also did the baa find the survey useful.
I can imagine trying to compile all the data from these would have been difficult.
I think some feed back would encourage more people to complete the forms next time round also.
