Re: The future of the BAA

You still haven't answered my previous question. How exactly would you like the baa "to cater" more for specimen anglers? It's got bugger all to do with what type of fishing anyone does and burying our head in the sand as you like to keep saying.I pleasure fish baa waters more than I match fish them and not only do you repeatedly contradict yourself, you still can't give an example of what you would like done to improve things for speci anglers. And to use the pathetic excuse of nobody listens to me in the forum to not come to an agm is laughable.Since when have any rules or decisions been changed or made based on chat in a forum?

Re: The future of the BAA

Ken,the agm is well advertised every year on this website and like John said it's even on the back of your membership card!So with at least a years notice of the details of the agm I'm disappointed every year that more members can't spare a couple of hours of their time to attend. How can you expect your ideas and views to be heard if you don't turn up to the one night where you are given the chance to air these views and discuss how the club can move forward.Let's be honest there are people that spend more time criticising others on various websites than it would take to attend once a year.

Re: The future of the BAA

Ok then explain how speci anglers aren't catered for then? It's not a dig at you it's a simple observation that you are quick to criticise but can't be arsed to do anything about it.As for night fishing my point is that it's not always as simple as the baa allowing it or not as there are often other factors involved. With your comments about a previous discussion on social media I don't see how that is relevant to this discussion. If my opinion on something "rubs you up the wrong way" then you really need to get out more.

Re: The future of the BAA

In response to the live bait issue Ken I think it creates too many grey areas with the removal of fish from fisheries, especially more recently with fish theft being an increasing problem.I think if there is a ban on any removal then this stops any accusations rightly or wrongly about removing fish from a venue.

To be honest John Care I find some of your "claims" quite puzzling. Please explain your suggestion that the committee don't "cater" for barbel anglers?
