BaiitrunnersHi all, gave Severn Stoke a go Saturday and being relatively new to fishing with two rods ive bought two bait runners and for the first time I had the 2nd rod go while I was playing a barbel.Unfortunately it dropped the hook after just a few seconds what I want to know is do you set them really loose or tightened up so they just about pull the line off ?thanks

Re: Fladbury 25/7/2017Looks like you tried everything but dynamite,I suppose that's fishing for you never the same from one day to the next.I must admit I thought the fish I caught were in good nick apart from a few had pike bites on them.

Re: Fladbury 25/7/2017I suppose that when you can park behind your peg it's always going to be more popular than hiking with your tackle,Ladyham was the same a few years ago but there are plenty of fish at fladbury if you can get them going,I've found that 4-6 mm pellets have been producing better than traditional baits using a big heavy stick float.i had these in a couple of hours out the same peg but it was in the evening.
