Re: What actually are the rules ?

Great posts guys, just wondering if the committee members actually read these posts and act on any of them.

Re: night fishing

Once again the issue of night fishing has labelled night anglers as those responsible for litter, I agree with those comments above, Bob, Belsh and JC and in my opinion all anglers are responsible, regardless of when they fish. The toilet issue also accounts for daytime fishermen, are you implying that day fishermen don't relieve themselves while night fishermen do?. Its been said before on a previous post ( re knowle sands) that those responsible for litter probably wont show themselves here anyway, members of the public walking the banks are equally responsible ive seen it first hand.

My son and I have just started fishing BAA waters this season after a break of a few yrs, most of our successful fishing has been done overnight, with great catches to boot! ( teme apart) and I estimate that we have spent perhaps an extra £60/£70 each on night permits maybe more, we discussed that wouldn't it be good if BAA gave us an option of buying our membership that included night fishing albeit on the designated waters currently allowed, maybe with the option of still having to call to book yourselves on that venue, perhaps 24hrs notice minimum. If a membership that included night fishing, cost lets say £80/£100 I for one would snap their hands off.

Re: Rubbish left at knowle sands 1-2

Permits are allowed, the book has had this error for years, so does the web site, where to fish, if you look at the drop down menu BAA/PERMITS/NIGHTPERMITS, you'll find it there.
