Re: Nordley Pool 1

Hi BostinJames

Thanks for your input into Nordley Pools.

I would like to introduce myself i am Craig Williams the fishery's officer for the BAA. I have been with our work team working extremely hard over the last few months in the development on the venue.

The change to the venue has been put through our management team and Exec team to get the plans passed to develop pool No 1 to as you said to the silvers pool. This is for the younger angler to fish and catch we desperately as a fishing association need these on board to progress the future of the sport. Not to mention the metal heath of get out on the bank for everyone to turn up and catch even silvers..! not all fishermen/women want to catch carp. what happens when the
river Seven is up and flooded..?What happens in the close season when the rivers are closed its a drop on place for those members that have travel the 40 miles that you say you have to travel to fish there.

Most importantly it was put through at our AGM in November on the 10th which if you look at the back of you membership card the details are on there, so with you comments on the above thread you could have had you say and put forward your point.

We are removing the large carp out of pool number 1, as JW stated and stoking in pool 2 so that carp will still be on the same site. Ref the number of pegs on pool two being reduced there are over 25 pegs on that pool. if you are carp fishing would you want other anglers sitting 5 yards away from you...? casing over your lines..? the pegs will be made larger so that you can night fish and bivvy up in your own space. The night fishing will be limited to small numbers per venue as do all our venues. so you will have the pool to your self in most cases.

I really do appreciate your feed back and are happy to meet you on site Monday or Wednesday after the new year to discuss, if you want to catch up for a chat on site please email me on baa.cw21@outlook.com. We are on site at 07.30 till 14.30 most days if you cannot make it on the above days time i will wait until 16.30 as long as i know you are coming to site. keep an eye out on the dates on the fishery's work plan on our web page it gives you the days that i plan to be on site. I always welcome the members input. i just cannot see how this is going to be a negative task as you make out.

Thanks Craig

Re: Apperley pools

Hi Sutts

If you take a look at the section on the website that says where to fish and find pools, Apperley pool is on there and it says Pike..? in what in there. Maybe some one can confirm if there is or not. good luck.
