Went to Fladbury this week and caught lots of small fish on the stick float.

Re: Great platforms, but! It's probably to allow for expansion for when the boards swell, you'll be ok in the winter mate when it's throwing it down!

Re: Great platforms, but!Nothing gonna please you then, if you go to woodlands view(not baa) the platforms are constructed of concrete and you get more fish than water!

Re: Great platforms, but!To be absolutely honest stewpar, I am not really a fan of fishing platforms per say, but if I have to use one, I do like to get anything I drop back, most of the time.

Re: Great platforms, but!Personally I don't like platforms, they can be dangerous if not maintained, I sit to the side of the things if I can. And they can be noisy that fish pick up on. I do understand the feeling of losing something into the river, had a new expensive Swiss Army Knife did just that at Severn Stoke.

Re: Great platforms, but!The solution to losing stuff through a platform is simple, just place a cheap unhooking mat under your feet where you sit as most dropped things land there.
