Looking for any information on Pershore RB, downstream of road bridge. Have walked it a few times, but very low and clear. Initial thoughts is that it looks good for the stick float or light feeder, but unsure of main species or best tactics. Any information on this area gratefully received.

Re: Pershore RBI’ve fished it a few times, mainly winter for pike, towards the top end once weed dies off,did walk it myself last Friday, couple of anglers there one trotting the other with pole out, they were both just fishing for silvers.Did notice on opposite bank where the boats are usually moored 3 bivvys up and I’m guessing over night barbel fishing as 6 rods were pointing skywards,so I’m guessing must b ok for barbel?Pity the matches held there don’t report winners catch/methods

Re: Pershore RBFished there last week. Nice mixed bag of small silvers on stick float with bronze maggot. Switched to a waggled & sweetcorn and caught a nice few chublets. Died when an otter bellyflopped off the top of the far bank into the river!

Re: Pershore RBThanks for the replies guys. Will give it a go and report back. Might wait though for a bit of rain first.

Re: Pershore RBwe fished a match there last year ..all people caught silvers and were fishing the stick mainly...i fished the pole and managed 12LB of bits and a few chub.i really should of fished the stick aswell, my mistake ..i was pegged just inside the wooded area.. the best weight on the day was the far end of the wooded area ..23LB chub and 1 barbal..fished a maggot feeder.....give it a go you wont be disappointed.........
