Hello Fellow d’anglers,
As the sign off to my posts is Keep on Fishing….
I thought that you may be interested to learn that what we participate in is actually very good for us!

I read in a newspaper today that Ulster Universitity, Queen’s University Belfast and the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge have had the results of their research published in the journal “Epidemiologia”

Well I thought that it would be good to share this news with you,
Psychologists discovered that “regular anglers were 17% less likely to suffer depression or anxiety”, in fact the MORE time they spent out fishing, the lower the risk!

The experts believed that the, exertion and exercise in the great outdoors, on the waterside especially on nice blue sky days, boosted the angler’s psychological wellbeing!!

So to all you fellow d’anglers who already know the benefits of fishing, don’t give up, just encourage those lapsed d’anglers to get back on the waterside and

Keep on Fishing….
