Hello Fellow D’anglers,
I have just read the Fisheries Team work updated 4th May and saw that work has now been started on Pegs on all four sections of the Knowle Sands water.

Great, as it a lovely stretch of the Middle Severn that has needed attention for some time.

Well done, and just in time for the new season.

Keep on Fishing

Re: Fisheries Work - Update 9th May - Knowle Sands - 1, 2, 3, 4. + Apley + Danery + Quatford

Hello Fellow D’anglers,
I have just taken a look at the Fisheries Work Update from 9th May only to discover that 42 pegs had been done on Sections 1-2 and 23 pegs on Section 3-4 at Knowle Sands!

That the Apley Waters have had 31 pegs done!

That the waters at Danery and Quatford were also going to receive work this month!

Fantastic news for getting out on the Middle Severn on 16th June

Well done all at the BAA

Keep on Fishing

Thanks for keeping us in the loop again Reg.

My neck of the woods being the Danery & Apley, I am particularly grateful to the Team.

It will be interesting to see how they get on at the Danery. I suspect that despite the Team's BEST efforts a few pegs will have been lost for ever though. Several trees came down in the storms back in Feb/March, plus the 5mtr flood that followed dumped tons of what looked like Thatching Straw along the bank at the car park end, so I'm not expecting miracles.

We'll still be able to keep fishing though and I for one will take advantage of the Teams effortssmiling .

Re: Fisheries Work - Update 24th May - incredible work done by Fisheries Team & Contractors

Well there are now only 23 days till we can fish the rivers again!!

I have just read the latest Updated on 24th May, Fisheries Team & Contractors activities in the preparation of the Avon, Severn and Teme ready for the 16th June, and they have been VERY Busy indeed!

Reading it it reveals that the
Bidford Left Bank has had a lot of work done to improve OUR fishing.

But as you will discover when you take a look at the information to be found in the “Booked Waters & Fisheries Work Plan” in the Home Page Menu there will be lots of waters that have been attended to during the Close Season.

So well done to all concerned.

Keep on Fishing
