I have just seen the latest update of the work being done in November and what was done in October by the BAA & their Contractors. I also copied and paste in the great work done at Brendon but unfortunately the jif photo images do not appear at the foot of this posting.

River Avon
Manor Farm Wasperton - prep work for Peg Rebuilds - 10th Nov
Fladbury - Hedge Cutting - week commencing 15th Nov
Bredon peg builds
During October, the Fisheries Team have been working at Bredon on the river Avon carrying out a major rebuild and repair of the pegs in meadows 1,2 and 3.
18 new pegs have been built
11 serviceable pegs are still in use
1 additional peg yet to be built
the timber slope from the end of the footbridge into meadow 1.was also replaced
As the Admin Team have announced
You now have 29 good solid fishing pegs with an easy walk from the car park, good for match venues. Book now for 2022!

River Severn
Blackstone - Hedge cutting - week commencing 15th Nov
Hallow - Track had 2nd cut in October

River Teme
Eastham Bridge - Car Park ground work & Gate work - week commencing 15th Nov
Lindridge- Strimming & Gate lock replaced in October
Eardiston- Mill Lane Gate Ockham replaced in October

River Wye
Stacklands - Strimmed in October

Pools
Nordley - Car Park cleaned and Peg Cutting - Done first week of November
Mythe - 12 Pegs Rebuilt

I think this is great news for us members to be aware of and that is why I have taken the time to summarise it here in my post.

Big well done to all involved its great to see the venues getting some much needed attention. Looking forward to some great catches from Bredon next year smiling

I have been to Bredon before and after the new boards being fitted and a Pat on the back for all involved in getting this work done it is 100% improved, well done BAA
