Quick question, where is the downstraem boundary of the Trimpley stretch? The map kind of implies it is around the 90 degree bend of the river but there is a sign up at the natural weir before the bend that says Willow Creek Anglers (outside one of the holiday homes, doesn't look very official though?). Thanks

Re: Trimpley downstreamThink it's 2or3 pegs below the island, there is a fence/style/ gate which I think is the start of willow creeks water, best not trespass on there water.

Re: Trimpley downstreamBeen trying to find details of what waters Willow Creek AC have and what they charge for a while but their website is broken and I had no response to an e-mail.

Re: Trimpley downstreamSo it is legit - I thought it was maybe the holiday homes staking a claim.

Re: Trimpley downstreamIt used to be reliable for pike, with good fish to be caught on the old Seckley section in the winter or on lures cast up from the stones on the Trimpley side in the summer.

Re: Trimpley downstreamI fished that peg years ago, as you say very very deep and very snaggy, lost loads of gear and never had a bite, looks very fishy though!
