Re: Korum Bopper

I have found in the past that putting down a bed of hemp with no pellets or boillies just hemp, Any thing up to a gallon at a time in the summer and then resting the swim for up to one hour before I start to fish.Barbel are suckers for hemp. I would never use that much in the winter. Its still possible to catch any thing from one to two or maybe three fish in a session.

You are right Baldy man the numbers are not there. There are still fish to be caught on the Warks Avon places like Fladbury, Nafford and Bidford, Also on the Lower Severn,Cant comment on the middle Severn I've not fished it for a while. It also helps if you can fish into darkness.

I would suggest that in the summer months barbel are more likely to be on the move looking for food unlike in the cold winter months. So the theory is that once they come across my bed of hemp they will stop and get there heads down and start feeding with the hope of catching one or two or maybe three fish

Hempseed ?

I'm looking to get hold of some uncooked hempseed in bulk ready for when I start the season at Fladbury.

Can any one recommend either a tackle shop or seed merchant that sells it in bulk ? Not worried about the cost as long as it splits when cooked

I'm not looking for ready cooked sad
