Cheers Stew, last time i fished that sort of area or any of the BAA canal has got to be about 15 years ago, back then it was gudgeon city lol.
I think a sunday morning drive out and recci of the area is due.

BAA Canals

Looking for some advice gents, its been quite a few years since ive fished the canal in the close season, but this year ive decided to do just that so.....
Any advice where to start, hoping for some Chub, skimmers, even Bream and Roach, also fancy the quieter areas not to built up, I used to head around hanbury area but have been tol its all overgrown and no access anymore, you used to walk through the reed beds and you felt miles from anywhere.
Also any section not too wide to reach far cover, so if any of you have fished or walked any particular nice stretches and don't mind sharing the info, it would be greatfully recieved as a starting point.
