Baa waters

Went to fladbury today to walk the dog. It put me in mind of fishing there with my father when I was a lad. One or two beautiful days out.

Anyway I started the walk by the mill and walked up stream for about a mile, maybe mile and a half, and the entire stretch was unfishable, due to a total excess of grasses on the bankside.

The first field above the mill was once a lovely fishing pitch.such is the state of it now, I actually did not recognise it when I reached it.

Whatever the cause of the piitchside at fladbury when I was a lad should be state of the pitchside now, not just for Fladbury but also for a lot of other baa waters. If it was then baa membership would grow again toward the levels of the 60,s and 70,s, and fishing would be the winner.

Re: Repair to track at Salford priors

Ok. If the baa rent the fishing rights does the rent include essential repairs. If not can the rental agreement be amended to include maintenance of track. It may cost more but it would be worth it for al the fishing that is not taking place.

Repair to track at Salford priors

The track is a health hazard to a car. It’s a good distance to walk, so can it be repaired?
