Re: River Teme

Lower reaches best at present. Very few fish from Tenbury through Eastham Bridge to Eardiston. Take a look at River Teme barbel fishing group on facebook. Some use ful info and comments on there. As I have said before. Go prepared for difficult bank conditions because they are very steep and nettle covered.

Re: Float fishing on the river

BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY BANKS AND NETTLES AND BRAMBLES IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE FURTHEST PEGS. PAYS TO TRAVEL LIGHT AS ARLEY AND HIGHLEY ARE LONG STRETCHES. I WILL START OFF ON THE AVON THEN TRY THE SEVERN WHEN IT SETTLES DOWN AS IT CAN GET BUSY. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU SCOTT.

Re: Upper Arley car park

I was there on Wednesday and the Arley estate car park above the footbridge was closed. I would expect it to be open by the 16th June though. Sad to say that there were no signs of any fish except Minnows. Can only hope they are still there.

Re: When We Fish Again

This is a very easy form of getting our message across to many MPs in the area. Angling Trust have prepared the format and all you have to do is type in your details and a short message.
Please make the effort as i am sure governing bodies of many sports and hobbies are doing the same. Make sure we get our voice heard.

Re: Pools

That,s a good point Kent. What with the serious decline of insect and other natural foods the fish will be ravenous. Due to the warm weather and spawning they need sustenance as judging by the fish in my garden pond they are getting very active. I dare say the cormorants and other predators will be filling their bellies. That might well have to include those from the east of course from a couple of bailiffs videos posted recently. Let,s all hope that we can get out in a few weeks and help remedy the situation but for now stay home and stay safe.
