Re: Retreat Farm Tench?Agree there Stew, but surely sorting out the otter predation problem should be first on the list? After all, what is the point of restocking if the fish are just going to get eaten before anglers can get to catch them? If nothing is done, then eventually the same fate will befall Pool 1 as well over time.

Re: Retreat Farm Tench?Thanks Wilkes. Shame it (Pool 2) seems to fish so poorly as the photo's make it look like a lovely place to go and fish. Been keen on bagging a new Tench PB (previous PB is about 2lb from Woodland View years ago) this year and thought Retreat might be the place to try first.

Retreat Farm Tench?Thinking of taking a ride over to Retreat Farm on Friday and having a day's tench fishing on Pool 2, maybe a few crucians too! What's the average size of the tench in there and what baits work best?
