Re: OMC Magic Stick They're fish, not infants in swaddling. Almost all the waters where it might be used are going to be barbless hooks only, so worst case scenario is the fish drags it about for an hour or two. Posted on August 24, 2023 at 6:35 PM

Re: Retreat Farm Spoke to dad last night. He visited the other day for a look around, and told me that I wouldn't recognise the place. It's clear and choked with weed. He put some bread in but didn't see a sign of a fish. When I told him about the stocking of small carp, his response was, "The cormorants will have had those by now". Confirmation that it's not worth fishing aside, he did note that there is a family of swans on the pool, and was concerned that the new fence will make it impossible for the youngsters to take off. Spoke to dad last night. He visited the other day for a look around, and told me that I wouldn't recognise the place.
