Unfortunately, monitoring by Avonvale River Action Group and other groups continues to show major issues with water quality in the river.
Until that is addressed, adding fish is just a Band-Aid.

I thought about Retreat Farm (and yes, those platforms are great), but I'm planning on putting out a rod for the Zander, and While I know they are present below the weir in numbers, I have no idea about the section from Bevere up to Holt Fleet.

Hallow Question.

My mobility still isn't great, but I'm thinking of a trip out to Hallow.
I don't particularly fancy sliding down the bank, only to discover that I can't get back up, so, rather than wasting a trip, can anyone tell me whether the pegs in sections 4 and 5 have steps and or platforms?

They "restored" it.
It was overgrown, weedy and non-navigable.
It was also home to a huge amount of wildlife.
Now it's just another muddy ditch for the weekend admirals.
No doubt fishing has improved, but there's more to waterways than fishing.

And this (and their destruction of the wildlife corridor that was the Droitwich canal) is why I will never give the CRT a penny.
