Cropthorn AvonTried to have a look at Cropthorn today, followed the BAA directions, over the railway crossing, down the track to the houses on left, barn on right, track goes round to the right but then appears to just go into a crop field, drove into the field followed track as far as shelter for the workers but could see no evidence of car park, spoke to a couple who reckoned they had lived there for ten years, they said never seen anyone fishing, nor car park, no BAA signs in evidence, anyone got any info

Re: Uckinghall Pool.Can't understand this, I've been to uckinghall a couple of times recently and can see no sign of it being flooded, the level is normal, none of the woodwork is under water, it's not even soft underfoot, I went to check it out last night after reading these comments and just can't see where you are coming from, yes the lilies could do with thinning out, but it's far from unfishable, I shall be fishing it over the weekend all being well, tight lines
