ripple bailifany one had probs with the ripple, birds meadow bailif?....every one i speak to seems to have some kind of aggro of him....could some one please remind him of the rules....fishing 1 hour before and 1 hour after dark as it says in the rule book....it also says not to interfere with a persons fishing......its more than one person for it to be a coincedence...the older bailif is very nice btw....be great if the moody one would check you licence and then go away with out chatting

Re: Holt fleetyou dont have to pay to park at holt...there is 2 or 3 patches of grass opp the houses...drive down the side of the caravan park along the fence...you can turn car around nr the lock....i used small hook 4lb line with maggot ground bait feeder...theres lots of sliver fish there i had a nice bream and decent chub...after about 1hour casting the same spot you see a massive shadow following your bait and lots of fish....pellets are a bit slow there and no one seems to be catching on them....its full of pike and they are very lively ,freeline a spratt and it wont last long, also they will take your feeder catches if you dont reel them in quick,,great pike sport there...and where theres that many pike theres lots of other fish as thats why the pike are there in full force
